We decorated these eggs for Family Home Evening. It was so much fun. We have done this every year since we have been married. It is so much fun. And very addicting.

Livee's friends two friends came over last week and we had a tea party. We brought every stuffed animal, Dora doll (we have like 10 for some reason) and baby doll to have it with them. I was the waitress and I made them tiny little cookies, and they had tiny snacks. It was so much fun and Emmi is always playing right with them because she is not going to miss out!

This is today. It looks like Christmas (maybe we need to take those lights down). It has been cold!

Livee and Daddy painting eggs. (Notice Ryan's cute apron.)

Cute big girl. She is looking so old.
Today was quite a funny day. Ryan took our new car to Utah for the National Undergraduate Literature Conference with his friends this weekend. That means I am stuck with the two door civic. My old baby. It is a really good car but not so fun when you have two kids to get in and out. We decided to go to the dollar store and Wal-Mart. We went to the dollar store first and Livee was really hungry so we had to stop and get her some chicken nuggets at Wendys.
Let me just explain a few things about Black Beauty (the civic). She is getting old and is getting a few wrinkles. If you don't shut the drivers side door hard and it is half way shut, you can't open it from the inside. That means that I have to climb out the passenger side door and to open it from the outside. Another handicap that she has is that the power windows don't roll down with out popping out. And the drivers side window only rolls down about two inches.
We stopped to get some chicken nuggets and I do through the drive through (I should have thought this through but it was a blizzard outside). So I open my door a little because of the window problem and order them. Then I shut the door... and it doesn't get shut all the way! Oh crap. I was going t climb out but I was the only person in line and so I just drove up and rolled my window down the whole two inches. My hand won't even fit out and the guy was laughing at me because I explained they don't roll down. So he takes my money and hands me the food. I have to squish it down to get it through and then I try rolling my window up and it pops out. I am laughing my head off by this point because it is snowing and I can't even open my door to get out and try and fix the window. It takes two people usually to fix so I didn't even try. I get to Wal-Mart and have to climb out the passenger door. It was quite the adventure. I know all of you are dying to buy my cool civic now but she is not for sell. She might be old but she still gets 45 to the gallon. We will have her until she dies. So I might just be a redneck.

This story made me laugh! We had many good memories in this car. My Honda has the same issue with the windows, mine are taped up with clear packaging tape so they don't fall down, definitely ghetto.
Oh Kenz! I am laughing so hard right now, mostly because I totally know what that is like. Good thing you can have a great sense of humor about things like that; I'd probably be screaming curse words the whole way home. Your Easter eggs are so cute and your girls are darling. I love to read about all the fun things you do for them. You're an amazing mom! We need to get together with Allison and our kids sometime soon.
Oh Kenz! hahaha that is hilarious! Gotta love 2 door cars! I HATE mine. But at least I can climb out my own door lol.
You are such a cute MOm Kenz! Your girls are lucky, and so cute by the way. I cant believe how grown up they are. Lets get together! Love ya
Bahahahaha. I needed that.
You are such a cute mom Kenz! That is so fun you guys had a tea party. They will probably remember that for along time.
Those easter eggs turned out soo cute. I cant believe how big livee is!
Haha oh man good times in that car! That is so funny! Happy Easter and your girls are so dang cute!
LOL Your story is so funny. I was holding Charlotte in my arms when I read your story and was trying SO hard to hold my laugh in so that I wouldn't wake her up. Which made it even worse so little laughs kept escaping and by the end of your story, I was pretty much holding my breath and my stomach was like convulsing. Note to self: don't hold sleeping babies when reading your blog. I was just picturing that whole scene and I am just really glad you shared.
By the way, I love your comments on my blog. They usually make me cry. You make me love being a mom even more :)
By the way again (I know this is my 3rd comment) I MEANT to comment on your little BYU bashing a few posts ago. I will stick up and stand up to you anytime whatever school you go to plays the COUGARS! You should be scared because this family has almost as much BYU pride as MADISON pride. We will take you on and we will WIN. I will give Utah State the boys bball (tho we are close) but that is the only thing out of ALL the sports they compare. And the U, cmon Kenz...they were embarrassed and probably shunned at their home court when BYU played them a little while ago, and football you ask? Yes we won that too. BRING IT ON GIRLFRIEND!
