To all the Moms out there

Okay all you moms out there. After you have had a child or children do you ever get bugged by the people that say, "wow, you look so good... for having two kids." Well I know that people probably aren't being rude and mean well but seriously I just want somebody to say, "you look so good," without adding the "for having two kids part." I don't really care, I just think people are funny.
Ryan came home from school today and told me that a girl in his class told him that even though he has two kids he is still stylish and he looks good and he hasn't let it all go. News flash, lots of people that don't have kids let it all go. Couldn't she say all that without the "for having two kids?" Well maybe not because then she would be hitting on him. Ha. Do any of you other moms think this or is it just me?
Sorry for the negativity but I had to vent that thought out. Now time for the GOOD NEWS! We have heard back from BYU graduate program and Utah State graduate program (for English), and we got into Utah State and denied from BYU. We haven't heard back from University of Utah but that is our dream spot. So yea Utah State and BYU... we didn't want to go there anyway! If we go to Utah State we decided that we are going to get the shirts that say "You may beat us but at least we don't live in Provo." And if we go to University of Utah our number one rival would be BYU. So to all the BYU fans out there we are your rivals now!!! And if any of you knew me in high school I didn't like our rival (the Rigby Trojans) at all! Wherever we go we are going to be going to lots of games and cheering our school on. We are so excited for this because BYU-Idaho doesn't have sports. I am so proud of Ryan for all of his hard work!
Also, would you private blogs add me if you haven't? (Roz, Melissa and anyone else who I know). I don't know how to tell you my email now that I can't get into your blog. It is kenzieprice@hotmail.com. Thanks!

I agree with the addendum to "You look so good." I wanted to tell you that I am going to be in Rexburg for Becca's farewell next weekend. Let's do lunch or something... and then here is my shameless plug- Come live in Logan with me!! We beat BYU and the U in basketball all the time, and we have great season tickets! I understand about the U, but if you do end up in Logan, you will love it. I have never met a person that came here that didn't! Seriously, my husband and I have the Aggie license plate...now that is love.

(Sorry I had to fix a glaring typ-o)
I think you've got a point going there, Kenzie. I work DARN hard to look the way that I do and it's not to look "good" for anyone else's standards, regardless of whether I have kids or not. I pound away on that treadmill and turn my nose up at those cookies and put together outfits because I want to BE good not to LOOK good for others. People who make comments like that don't know the difference and probably can't appreciate how GOOD you truly are on the inside and the outside. You're awesome, Kenzie! Keep it up!

LOL- ok "moms" just take the complement! Some people (like me) are not smart enough to think that would be offensive haha- Kenz you are one sexy lady with or without your kiddos :)
Yay for you and Ryan! I'm scared for those stupid BYU peeps- Your school spirit could bring anyone to the ground!! Literally :)
(...boo Rigby, drop that stunt you brats...haha!)

Amen, sista! I totally agree with you in being against the "for having four kids" clause. I'm excited for you all to become Utards. Adam loved the U of U and we are totally into their athletics as well. SLC is a great place to live! Congrats on getting in to grad school (and in English, especially...that was my major!). I'm proud of you, Ryan, and your cute little family. It is hard for everyone when the dad or mom is in school, so great job everybody! :) Al's homecoming is Sunday; can you come down? You can stay with us!
